In 1993, Trevor and his wife Patricia started Sampsongs. Today, Sampsongs is the parent organization and tentmaking leg of the ministry of Trevor Sampson.

Music Ministry
For twenty-eight years, Trevor has been actively involved in the Gospel music business internationally. He is a forerunner and a pioneer in this, the world’s fastest growing music industry. Through his singing and worldwide involvement with various churches and organizations, Trevor’s achievements expand beyond his native South Africa.
Trevor has a heart for the betterment and empowerment of local South African musicians and singers. It is from this passion that Sampsongs focuses in five inter-dependant areas.

Artist Agency
Sampsongs serves as a booking agent and promoter for the artists who are in partnership with us. For twenty-eight years, Trevor has been building relationships with various organizations worldwide such as churches, schools, coffee bars and clubs. It is from these connections that we are able to give our artists the opportunity to perform their music in concerts at a variety of venues. These shows also give audiences an opportunity to connect with the artists face to face.

Recording Studio
With a fully equipped state of the art 32 Track Analogue integrated with Pro-Tools Digital recording facility, we are able to produce a high quality finished product for our artists. With Sampsongs’ reputation for achieving excellent results, the studio is also hired out for comercial television and radio industry projects such as mood music and jingles or adverts.

Pubishing

Sampsongs CC is a registered music Publisher. We hold membership with SAMRO (S.A. Music Rights Organization) and SARRAL (S.A. Royalty Rights Association Ltd.), the two leading copyright companies in South Africa. Both ensure that our music copyrights are protected internationally. All the songs written and recorded by our artists are published and administered by Sampsongs and Copy Care Africa.

Distribution

Sampsongs owns the distribution rights to all of our products. We work with various wholesale companies, Christian and secular music stores as well as other retail outlets such as supermarkets. A large number of sales are also generated during live performances that showcase the artists and their work.

Sound Hire

Superior sound quality is not only needed in a studio setting. But we also provide professional Sound Hire for large and smaller venues alike with no compromise to the quality. We are experienced in providing sound for complicated outdoor events including stadiums, beachfronts or even just an open field. Trevor’s knowledge and experience in this field provides Sampsongs with the technical ability to succeed.

We have access to highly professional sound engineers who have experience in mixing anything from Jazz, Rock, Blues bands to large complicated orchestra setups.
